CORKCICLE FAQs

What materials are used in CORKCICLE products?

    DRINKWARE

Our hydration products are crafted from a triple insulated 18/8, premium-grade stainless steel, and meet all FDA standards. The Tumbler Lid is made of Tritan plastic, which is BPA-free, clear, durable, and safe.

How do I clean my Tumbler lid?

We purposely make our lids clear so you will always know it's as clean as it should be. Both the rubber gasket and the plastic slider can be easily removed, but please use caution disassembling and reassembling. The gasket can be slipped off and on. The plastic slider can be removed by sliding it all the way open and pushing on one of the small plastic tabs on the bottom side of the slider. You will reassemble it by doing just the opposite. We also suggest using baking soda and lemon juice, or household vinegar to clean your Lid.

Is my CORKCICLE product dishwasher safe?

Good news! As of January 2020, some Canteens, Tumblers, Stemless Wine Cups, and Mugs may be categorized as top-rack dishwasher safe. We are working to transition most of our Drinkware products to be top-rack dishwasher safe. Please refer to the product label when purchasing a new product.

Previous: All of our stainless steel drinkware products must be hand-washed. This includes most of our Canteens, Tumblers, Stemless, and Mugs. Our Hybrid Canteen's glass body is dishwasher safe, but the steel base should be hand-washed.

Is my CORKCICLE product microwave safe?

Most CORKCICLE. products are NOT microwave safe! The majority of our products are constructed of Stainless Steel, and should not be microwaved.

If your CORKCICLE. product has any Stainless Steel components, please refrain from microwaving it.

How do I remove the product sticker on my CORKCICLE?

The glue used on the side sticker is susceptible to the environment, making the adhesive difficult to separate from the surface in some cases if it's been exposed to extreme heat or humidity.

Here are some helpful ways to remove the sticker:
Do not use acetate (nail polish remover) on the sticker. Best practice is dish soap and warm water. For extreme cases, use Micellar Water to remove the glue/paper residue.

Additionally, you could cover the residue in a soft powder (flour or baby powder for example) and let it sit for 10+ minutes, and then washing off with warm water and soap.

Why does my tumbler lid leaks?

Corkcicle Tumbler lids are designed to be spill-resistant so you don’t have to worry about any major spills. However, it’s not designed to be completely leak-proof. There is a tiny steam hole on the top of the slider piece, so be sure to keep your Tumbler upright when you’re on the go.

Our Canteens, Sport Canteens, and Commuter Cups on the other hand are completely leak-proof! If you're looking for a product you can toss in your bag with no worries, all of these products are great options for you.
